Terra-SorbŪ Medium Grade Hydrogel:
Terra-SorbŪ is a potassium polyacrylamide hydrogel that absorbs hundreds of times its weight in water, preventing water loss through percolation. When applied at planting, Terra-SorbŪ holds the water in the soil, where it can be accessed by roots. The polymer remains active in the soil for 3-5 years, repeatedly absorbing water with each rainfall, and releasing it during dry spells. Eventually, it biodegrades in the soil.

Directions:
Planting trees and shrubs: Mix Terra-SorbŪ evenly with the backfill soil at a rate of 2-oz (by weight) per inch caliper for B&B trees, or 1-oz (by weight) per 5-gallons for containerized trees/shrubs.
Seeding or Sodding: Prior to seeding or sodding, spread Terra-SorbŪ over the planting area at a rate of 3-Lbs per 1000 sq ft (15-Kg per 1000 sq m), or 150-Lbs per acre (150-Kg/hectare). If sodding, lay sod directly over product. If seeding, rake or rototill product into the top 2 inches (5-cm) of soil prior to seeding.
Proof of Compliance with Specifications: The contractor will demonstrate compliance by showing invoices to prove purchase of product in sufficient quantity to cover the project at the rates recommended by the manufacturer. Include project name, date of purchase of product, and name of contact.
