Workshop in Mexico

Welcome to our "Second International Workshop on Plant Health Care Microbial and Micorrhizal Fungus Applied to Agriculture, Horticulture and Forest Technology". On behalf of Plant Health Care, I would like to express our thanks for the effort you have made to attend this event.
For this occasion PHC Mexico has invited outstanding members of PHC Inc. and PHC Austria , as well as the technical staff of PHC Mexico, distributors, clients and highly qualified technicians who use and promote our products throughout Mexico. Of particular importance is the presence of executives of the Secretariat of Defense,
Cor. Fernando Vázquez Valenzuela and Nursery Managers, who are responsible of the propagation of approximately 143 millions of trees which will be transplanted this year in the National Reforestation Program, and; Dr. Donald H. Marx, Chairman and Chief Scientist of PHC Inc, who has been awarded the Prize in Forest Sciences "Marcus
Wallenberg" by the King of Sweden.
With this event PHC Mexico establishes a forum to discuss the use of microbial technology in the production of plant species that have economic interest, so that doubts can be cleared and vision can be given on the potential of this technology promoting the interaction among three fundamental groups: 1) clients, 2) technicians who provide specialized assistance for its application, and 3) specialized scientists.
Our main objective is to discuss the experiences we have had during more than 2 years of activities in Mexico, and to identify new opportunities for the application of our technology in 2001 in Mexico and Latin America, working closer with our clients and providing better solutions to their problems.
We sincerely hope that these two days will be fruitful for everyone and that the relationship between Plant Health Care and every one of you gets better every day.
We will meet at 7:30 p.m. next to the swimming pool of the Hotel Hacienda Vista Hermosa in order to get to know each other and present you the agenda that we have prepared for this week end.
