PHC PreTect - Increases shelf-life and relieves environmental stesses
A new approach to crop management, PHC PreTect is a pre-harvest treatment that gives post-harvest benefits.

PHC PreTect uses Harpin technology and is applied 7-10 days prior to harvest. Thse naturally occuring Harpin proteins trigger a host of changes within the plants' cells, effectively 'hardening' them which will lead to them being better able to tolerate stresses. The changes that are induced also lead to a wide range of benefits which also include reducing rotting of harvested tissue (increasing shelf-life)

PHC Sentry gets SA 'Permitted' status
A new biological leaf wash based on the application of strains of Bacillus has been granted 'Permitted' status by the Soil Association

PHC Sentry utilises unique soap-like lipopeptides produced by very specific strains of Bacillus subtilis and pumilis to help degrade the membranes of mildews and other fungal and bacterial pathogens on the leaf. These lipopeptides act as surfactants to break down the lipid membranes of these problematic pathogens, detatching the spores from the leaf, and in some cases 'cleaning'; the leaf from existing disease.
